Power it on and it drones. Push the feedback and it howls, folds and grinds. Run it as an instrument, or run it as an effect and let it eat whatever you feed it.
Drum and noise machine / iOS AUv3
Dark metal hits and a sequencer split into sections. Record one, wreck the knobs, record the next, play the lot back. Inspired by analogue hardware, Japanese cyberpunk and the Rochdale industrial landscape.
Spinning brass disk synthesiser / iOS AUv3 instrument + FX
Spin it up and the hum climbs. Detune it, push it into Shepard mode, add grit. Shake the device and the disk wobbles. The haptics push back harder the faster it spins.
Valve pressure synthesiser / iOS AUv3 + standalone
Four handwheels, one lever, one brass gauge. Pressure, pipe, leak, bleed. It plays the second you power it. Push the lever across and it latches.
Telecommunication switchboard synthesis / iOS standalone + AUv3
Type a message and it sends as Morse. That rhythm is the sequencer. Lift the handset to send. Dial a number to transpose. Patch cords override everything.
150 feedback drones, one minute each, recorded straight from Wail. Raw and unprocessed. No limiter. 16 bit WAV. Built for dark ambient, industrial, noise, film and games.
